The Real Cheese Project founders are Amy, James, Nicola and Sam – all dedicated champions of real British cheese.

James and Nicola Grant own No2 Pound Street, a cheesemongers in Buckinghamshire specialising in British artisan cheese. James is an Academy of Cheese training partner, cheese columnist and regular judge at competitions including the World Cheese Awards and British Cheese Awards.

Over the past decade, Sam and Amy Brice have helped raise the profile of British artisan cheese through their PR & marketing agency, Freshly Ground PR - working with the World Cheese Awards, British Cheese Awards, Big Cheese Weekender and Affineur of the Year, as well as with many cheesemakers.

The Real Cheese Project is committed to working collaboratively across the curd community – alongside cheesemakers, cheesemongers, farmers, graders, educators, commentators and organisations – to help protect, promote and celebrate real British cheese.
